The OpenMP Application Programming Interface (API) is an emerging standard for parallel programming on shared-memory multiprocessors. We have designed and implemented Omni OpenMP compiler, which is now available on our web site. It supports a variety of shared memory platforms, including Linux SMP.

We extend the OpenMP model for a cluster of PCs, Workstations and SMPs by "compiler-directed" software distributed shared memory (DSM) system. For a programmer, the OpenMP programming model supported by our "compiler-directed" SDSM will offer a comfortable and easy-to-program, yet efficient programming environment by hiding the complicated configuration of clusters.

We will demonstrate a tuning environment of Omni and some preliminary results of our extensions for SMP clusters.
