46th Affairs Committee Meeting
The Affairs Committee of the Real World Computing Partnership held its 46th meeting from 2:00 p.m. on September 30 (Tue.), 1997 at the Tsukuba Research Center (TRC). At the same time, a technical trip of the TRC was conducted for the participants of the meeting to learn the current status of RWC research activities.
Dr. Junichi Shimada, director of the RWC Research Institute, outlined this year's research subjects. Four laboratory chiefs; Dr. Yutaka Ishikawa, Dr. Tomohiro Kudoh, Dr. Mitsuhisa Sato, and Dr. Yutaka Akiyama explained their respective research themes. The visitors were then invited to take a trip through laboratories and research facilities and see demonstrations.
The Affairs Committee holds an annual meeting at TRC to discuss the current status of RWC research and development activities.
